Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 on the 22nd of November, 1984 in New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has earned her recognition in a variety of genres - from thrillers and adventure films to period dramas. Johansson daughter of an architect and a producer was brought up in New York City. Hunter, the sister of Johansson was born in the city of New York. By the time she was seven, her interest in acting had increased. She began to audition for commercials. Her interest in acting grew quickly, and she was soon after at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was eight, she appeared together with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her debut in film with Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen in Just Cause (1995), her debut occurred through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters fleeing. Then, she was awarded the praise of critics for playing the role of a teenager who been injured and caused her to be disfigured in The Horse Whisperer (1998). Her popularity grew with the film Ghost World (2002) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. When she was a kid Smith was interested in the field of acting. Smith's parents helped her with finding her first stage role at age six. The role was in a Dannon yogurt commercial. Like many actresses who are just beginning to get their feet wet, she would work on her acting skills. She worked on various projects within the USA while she was making her debut on stage. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
