Chando is currently living within New York City. Chando was studying in Manhattan College when she became an actress. Chando originated the role of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World turns, which she played from 2005 to 2007 as well as for a few months beginning in late 2009. Alexandra debuted in 2002 with House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. She played Maddie Coleman in the CBS television soap As the World Turns for three years.
