KarlJacobs was posting streams until the year 2018, when he was offered an interview with the MrBeast crew. Jacobs was offered the chance to take on the role of video editor of the YouTuber. He accepted it. Jacobs was employed by MrBro who is the brother of MrBeast prior to climbing the ranks. Jacobs was featured in a few of MrBeast's films in the year 2020, before the company invited him by Dream to be a part of the "Minecraft" server, Dream SMP, in August. Jacobs' career in the field was greatly affected by this streaming service. Jacobs gained a large following which increased the amount of money he earned. Jacobs seems to be interesting in the tale. He tried to fix the past using Tales from the SMP during an episode called "Minecraft". The Dream SMP team even participated in the "Minecraft" event, M.C.11 as well as being crowned as winners.
